Session Description
With the implementation of digital technology in the optical transport system, there are growing expectations for OPEX reductions with automation technologies. In particular, these technologies are key in utilizing open and disaggregated optical transport systems. This panel will address how we can implement the latest automation technologies, such as advanced monitoring/fault detection, fiber patch panels, and open-source tools, and discuss what value each can create.
