Session Description:
Founded in 2021 by Ericsson, Nokia, II-VI, Lumentum and Sumitomo, the MOPA effort has outlined the most important optical requirements and solution for 5G. Looking forward to 6G, the new optical solutions needed will have to support much higher data rates, and new architectures. This session will bring and discuss the new 6G optical requirements and possible solutions.
