2026 OFC booth#2339 Triple-Stone Advances 512×512 Optical Circuit Switch Connectivity Using US Conec MDC Technology
In 2025, Triple-Stone Technology Co., Ltd. Introduced a customized 512×512 OCS (Optical Circuit Switch) connection panel, aiming to deliver high-density, cost-effective optical connectivity solutions.
OCS technology is reshaping modern network architecture by reducing latency and power consumption while improving bandwidth utilization and scalability. Triple-Stone’s 6U 512×512 OCS integrates 1,024 fiber ports in a single unit, providing ultra-large non-blocking switching capacity for next-generation data centers and setting an industry benchmark.
Triple-Stone has developed a complete OCS product portfolio to address full scenarios:
512×512 for large data center aggregation layers;
300×300 for large data center aggregation layers;
256×256 for enterprise core networks and cloud infrastructure;
128×128 and 64×64 for access layers and medium-sized enterprises.
The whole series shares high reliability, modular scalability, and intelligent management, enabling operators to deploy flexible all-optical networking solutions.
Triple-Stone integrates USCONEC’s ELiMENT® MDC adapters and connectors (MDC 4-Port Adapter MDC/MDC Jr.) into its OCS platform. Designed for ultra-high density fiber connectivity, MDC connectors provide more than three times the port density of traditional LC duplex connectors while maintaining low insertion loss. This allows higher fiber counts within standard rack space, reducing hardware footprint and overall deployment costs for large-scale optical switching systems.
This implementation will benefit data center providers and operators requiring high-speed optical transmission. The specialized design of the ELiMENT® MDC connectivity within high-port-count OCS architectures will help enable more efficient deployment and support continued innovation in data center.
