Chilas Introduces O-band Narrow Linewidth Tunable Laser at OFC 2026

Chilas Lasers, a Netherlands-based manufacturer of ultra-narrow linewidth tunable lasers, will present its new O-band tunable laser at OFC 2026.
ATLAS1310, scheduled for commercialization in Q2 this year, is an ultra-compact laser module — about the size of a deck of cards — that is fully integrated with no moving parts and capable of switching between wavelengths within 20 ms. Like the other lasers in the ATLAS series, it combines wide wavelength tunability, ultra-narrow linewidth, fast wavelength modulation, and a fiber-coupled output, extending these capabilities into the O-band for applications that require both precision and flexibility.

Beyond the O-band release, Chilas will showcase its broader portfolio of tunable laser solutions.

Chilas ATLAS Series
A family of ultra-narrow linewidth tunable laser modules offering broad wavelength tunability across multiple bands and configurations.
Available at key wavelengths including 685 nm, 850 nm, 1550 nm (C-band), 1600 nm (C+L band), and 1700 nm, ATLAS lasers provide a wide tuning range to support applications where adaptability, stability, and precision are essential.

Chilas COMET
A C-band wavelength-swept laser capable of continuously sweeping across up to 50 nm at speeds up to ~100 nm/s. It is a laser suited for highly dynamic applications such as sensor interrogation, OCT, or device testing where a fast and repeatable wavelength sweep is essential.

Chilas POLARIS
A high-end, compact, frequency-stabilized single-frequency laser module for the C-band. Users can select their ITU channel, benefiting from ultra-low phase noise and an integral linewidth of <10 kHz at 10 ms — making POLARIS well suited for coherent and high-precision applications.
Chilas will showcase a live demo of the new O-band ATLAS1310 at Booth 957 (NL Pavilion, South Hall). Get in touch to learn more or schedule a meeting during OFC 2026.
