This presentation introduces SUNA’s silicon-based micro-lens technology for CPO and OCS. Designed to address the growing demand for high-density, low-loss optical coupling in AI-driven data centers, the lens arrays achieve low coupling losses with high alignment tolerance. Utilizing wafer-level semiconductor processes, the platform offers significant cost and integration advantages over conventional optics, enabling scalable, compact photonic packaging. Key technical strengths include etching, nanoimprint, AuSn processing, and customization support for silicon photonics transceivers and on-board optical routing. This talk highlights how SUNA’s lenses provide a practical, high-performance optical solution for next-generation AI and computing infrastructures.
