Yenista Optics opens Support Center in China
Lannion, FRANCE, March 14th, 2013 - Yenista Optics, a leading manufacturer of fiber optic test and measurement, is expanding its international presence with a Support Center in Shanghai, China. The Center will offer technical support and repair services. It opens officially on March 18, 2013. Yenista has deployed tunable lasers and tunable filters in mainland China with the help of its local sales partners. Its customers face important challenges in test and measurement both for manufacturing and R&D. Through the Support Center, Yenista will be able to accompany and assistant them with implementing its products in their set-ups. The Support Center will also offer repair services on legacy TUNICS and OSICS equipment from Photonetics and Nettest. Those optical instruments and corresponding technology were transferred from Anritsu to Yenista back in 2009. Over 350 units dating from the bubble years have been successfully repaired since the transfer. According to Nicéphore Nicolas, Sales & Marketing manager in charge of the Chinese market, “Our presence in mainland China shows Yenista’s commitment to serve customers with local support. The Shanghai Support Center marks an important milestone in Yenista’s history: it is the first step of the company’s establishment in Asia”.
