Go!Foton Debuts PEACOCTM Next-Gen Spiral Tubing for High Density Fiber Management Systems
SOMERSET, N.J.-- Go!Foton Corporation, a global leader in the design and manufacturer of innovative optical connectivity solutions, is proud to announce the introduction of the PEACOC Storage Organizer for Cables “SOC”. The PEACOC SOC is a revolutionary approach to organizing, managing, and protecting cables in high density fiber management systems such as ODFs, fiber distribution hubs & terminals, or any other rackmount, cabinet, or enclosure application where long length jumpers are typically used in large bundles
Designed as the next-gen cable management solution for next-gen networks, the PEACOC SOC provides a clever and effective alternative to traditional plastic spiral tubing and split wire loom. The PEACOC SOC is woven from a lightweight, UL-94 V0 flame rated fabric with a self-closing overlap which provides ease of cable insertion and removal. The split fabric sleeve is naturally bend limiting while also providing a high degree of abrasion resistance for small form factor patch cables and other sensitive optical cable assemblies. The value of the PEACOC SOC is owed to the patent pending zipper clips which allow technicians to very quickly and safely insert and remove cables.
The PEACOC SOC is available in various lengths and colors with diameters ranging from 5/16 up to 1-inch. It is compatible with any cable technology and the sleeve is easily attached to existing frames, closures, and rack mount fiber management equipment. “Anyone who has experienced the challenge and frustration of managing dense fiber cable installations will instantly appreciate the elegance and utility of the PEACOC SOC”, said Michael Zammit, Go!Foton VP & GM of Connectivity Solutions. “The PEACOC SOC will truly revolutionize the way fiber cables are installed, routed and managed in the ODF or any OSP cabinet or enclosure requiring large count bundles of cables.”
Go!Foton is showcasing the PEACOC™ SOC at OFC/NFOEC 2016, March 22-24 in Anaheim, California. Booth #3604.
