Welcome to the OFC/NFOEC 2012 conference blog. Though the 2012 conference and exhibition are more than seven months away, we are happy to kick things off online with the launch of the 2012 website and blog. From paper submission info to a running list of 2012 exhibitors, the OFC/NFOEC website will house everything you need to know about the conference and exhibits.
The success and excitement of OFC/NFOEC 2011 is resonating as we plan for 2012. In 2011, 98 percent of attendees surveyed felt the value they received at OFC/NFOEC was good to excellent. That value was provided in more than 750 technical and business-related presentations, three excellent Plenary Session keynote presentations from leaders at Deutsche Telekom, AT&T, and IBM, and an exhibit hall that was 20 percent larger than last year and featured a variety of new programming.
