Reichenbach International Inc. has developed new product

new fiberoptic/electrical small threaded metal circular connector mated-pair prototype with cable assembly at Booth 2717 in the Los Angeles Convention Center Exhibit, 24-26 March 2015.

a) RII # MTS12-2P2EP, a cable Plug with 2x2.2mm POF & 2x3A, (the 2 each 3A wires are the electrical, the two black lines are the 2.2mm POF), with 3 meter long cable per each line.
  It contains 2x3Amp electrical female solder-cup machined contacts in its keyed  200ºC Peek insert (the POF contact/cable are only 70ºC). The gold plated Brass shell has ⅜-24 UNF internal threads with ~ a 10.7mm I.D. and is 18.5mm long.
  The POF(Polymer Optical Fiber) contacts/cable require NO POLISHING when terminated on the other end of the POF cable.. The POF fibers are multimode, 660nm, with a 1mm core…. and are light-weight, EMI/RFI secure, flexible, water-friendly, and able to transmit signals sufficient for several TV sets.
   We also offer a plastic clamp locking POF connector with a receiver diode, 660nm, 156MBit/s (or 1100nm analog), that converts the POF signal to an electrical signal (or 1100nm analog);  or a transmitter diode, 660nm, 156MBit/s, that converts the electrical signal to a POF signal . This clamp connector terminates to the POF cable instantly and requires no polishing. Then the POF clamp connector is soldered to the PCB via its PCB legs/pins. An optional version that may also be front panel mounted is available.
 
b) RII # MTS12-2P2ER, a bulkhead feedthrough Receptacle with 2x2.2mm POF & 2x3A, (the 2 each 3A wires are the electrical, the two black lines are the 2.2mm POF), with 3 meter long cable per each line.
     It also contains 2x3Amp electrical male solder-cup machined contacts in its keyed  200ºC Peek insert (the POF contact/cable are only 70ºC). The gold plated Brass shell has ⅜-24 UNF threads with ~ a 11mm O.D. and is 15mm long.
