Anritsu, InnoLight Technology Jointly Demonstrate High-speed Solutions for Next-generation Networks at OFC 2016

MP1800A Signal Quality Analyzer BERT, 100G Optical Transceivers Shown as Solutions for Cloud Computing, Wireless Interconnect and SDN Network Applications –

Richardson, TX – Anritsu Company (OFC booth #2813) and InnoLight Technology Corporation are jointly demonstrating high-speed technology for cloud computing, wireless interconnect, and next-generation SDN networks in the InnoLight booth (#3857) at OFC 2016, March 22-24 in Anaheim. The demonstration features InnoLight’s 100G QSFP28 SR4/LR4 optical transceivers and the Anritsu MP1800A Signal Quality Analyzer (SQA) BERT.

The MP1800A will conduct functional and tolerance testing to showcase the high performance of the optical transceivers. InnoLight selected the Anritsu MP1800A for the demonstration because the BERT can create high-quality eye diagrams and its ability to add different forms of jitter, including SJ/RJ/BUJ/SSC, to perform tolerance tests on the modules. Its multi-channel synchronization capability is also critical for the demonstration, as the MP1800A can measure all four channels of the InnoLight 100G optical module. Additionally, the built-in LCD display of the MP1800A makes it easy for OFC attendees to see the performance of the InnoLight optical transceivers.

“As we move from 100G to 400G in data center optics, advanced high-speed test equipment is essential for us to deliver 100G/400G optical transceivers. We are very appreciative that Anritsu can provide cost-effective test solutions for InnoLight,” said Osa Mok, Chief Marketing Officer, InnoLight Technology.

“The MP1800A has become the test instrument of choice for many companies developing high-speed devices used in next-generation networks because of its ability to produce extremely clean eye diagrams and conduct highly accurate jitter tests. In this OFC demonstration, the key benefits of the MP1800A will be shown in conjunction with the high performance of the InnoLight optical transceivers,” said Hiroshi Goto, Business Development Manager, Anritsu Company.
