Session Description:
The current trajectory of the portion of data center power allocated to networking is unsustainable for next-generation data centers supporting a variety of applications, including AI/ML. Join this session to hear an OIF panel of industry experts discuss OIFs™ newest project, the Energy Efficient Interfaces Framework Project, which explores a variety of use cases as well as possible solutions to address this worrying trend. This complicated project is a joint effort across multiple OIF working tracks including the OIF™s Physical Layer Users Group which is identifying the various applications to address.
