Session Description
With the arrival of the compute-com big wave, networking infrastructure inside data centers is experiencing accelerated generational evolution. Emerging linear pluggable optics, available high-speed 200GSerdes and maturing 200G/lane optical modulation continue to extend the preference and dominance of pluggable optics despite non-stop R&D advances of co-packaged and in-package optics. This panel will discuss the latest technological progress of pluggable optics and once again revisit the inevitable topic of pluggable optics vs. co-packaged optics.
