Session sponsored and organized by Acacia Communications
Coherent technology is becoming more cost effective to deploy in a wider range of applications, made possible by advances in signal processing technology and integrated photonics. The industry is currently working on standards and developing components that will support pluggable small form factor 400G modules, such as QSFP-DD and OSFP. Panel participants will discuss how the introduction of these designs could drive coherent adoption in new applications, such as 5G and RemotePhy.
