The panel will address the evolution of developments in Ethernet interoperability testing and the adoption of new practices that accelerate the seamless integration for all participants in the ecosystem. From switch, server, and storage arrays attached over the multitude of interconnect options, to the advanced storage applications, interoperability is becoming a critical “must have” for meeting product deployment schedules, reducing post-sales support issues, and ensuring customer expectations are exceeded. The panel will review the challenges of testing the myriad of Ethernet speeds, and the impact of emerging, mission critical applications utilizing legacy and new, 50GbE and higher speed Ethernet networks and getting successful results.

David Rodgers is Senior Product Marketing Manager with Teledyne LeCroy, where he focuses on defining, designing, deploying, and marketing a broad range of high-speed serial analysis test and measurement products for Ethernet and Fibre Channel SANs and LANs. With over 30 years of computer industry experience, Rodgers represents Teledyne LeCroy Test and Measurement solutions in various protocol industry standards groups, including the Ethernet Alliance, FCIA, the PCI and NVMe special interest groups. He began his career in the test and measurement space as an original member of the USB Implementers Forum and one of the first marketers of USB protocol analyzers. He currently serves as the Ethernet Alliance Marketing Chair and as a board member for FCIA.
