Heidi Adams, Executive Director, Network Infrastructure Research, Informa, Canada

Heidi Adams is responsible for the Network Infrastructure research practice within the technology group at IHS Markit.  In addition to her role as lead analyst for IP and optical transport networks, she oversees a team of analysts focused on fixed access, mobile infrastructure, 5G/mobile transport, network virtualization, carrier SDN, automation, and IoT connectivity. Ms. Adams manages the core strategy, personnel, research, analysis, and commercial planning for the research practice. An experienced leader in the telecommunications industry, Ms. Adams joined IHS Markit in 2016, bringing over 20 years of product management and go-to-market strategy expertise to the team. She has spoken at numerous industry events and has been cited in publications including Light Reading, FierceTelecom, SDxCentral, and Lightwave Online.

Prior to joining IHS Markit, Ms. Adams held senior management roles in product marketing and PLM at Nokia (Alcatel-Lucent) and tenure at Nortel Networks, Bell Northern Research and IBM. Ms. Adams holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from the University of Ottawa, Canada.

Lisa Huff, Principal Analyst, Ovum, USA
Lisa Huff covers optical components in the telecommunications industry. She has expertise not only in optical components, but also in data centers, networking equipment, and connectivity. Her focus is on optical components in communications and IoT applications.

Ms. Huff joined Ovum in March 2018. She brings great industry expertise, with more than 30 years in communications, IT, and electronics industries. Ms. Huff joined Ovum from Discerning Analytics, where she was the owner and principal analyst. In addition, she is a Certified Data Center Management Professional (CDCMP) and a degreed electrical engineer with experience in data centers, LAN, optical components, copper and fiber connectors, and cabling

Ms. Huff has authored more than 50 technical papers and market research reports. She is a successful project manager with proven revenue-generating abilities. 

Meta Marshall, Executive Director at Morgan Stanley

Meta Marshall is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley covering Optical & Networking Equipment as well as Communication Software names. As part of a ranked II (Institutional Investor) team in Telecom & Networking equipment, her work seeks to identify investment and technology trends across multiple industry segments, often finding surprising commonality of themes and drivers. Prior to Morgan Stanley, she was a Vice President in the Technology Investment Banking group at BofA Merrill Lynch.

Meta attended the NYU Stern School of Business, where she graduated with distinction. She holds a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.

Vladimir Kozlov, CEO and Founder, LightCounting Market Research, USA

Vladimir Kozlov is the founder and CEO of LightCounting, an optical communications market research company. Jimmy Yu has built Dell’oro’s coverage on the Microwave Transmission market and works to expand coverage on the Optical Transport market research. He has authored several Advanced Research Reports on Mobile Backhaul and is researching Carrier SDN.

Mr. Yu originally joined Dell’Oro Group in 2001, and spent over four years as the primary analyst for Dell’Oro Group’s Optical Transport program and built our coverage of the PON market. In 2006, Mr. Yu joined Spansion, a leader in flash memory solutions, where he was a Strategic Product Marketing Manager for Spansion’s server memory subsystem product line.
