Željko Bulut is Director of Product Management at Coriant responsible for Groove™ G30 Network Disaggregation Platform. In his role, Željko is responsible for defining and executing Coriant’s open networking strategy and delivering innovative,  industry-leading optical transport products and solutions. Prior to becoming part of Coriant, Željko held senior product management, system test, and network level integration roles at a variety of leading companies, including Bell-Northern Research, Nortel, Innovance Networks, Infinera, and Siemens/Nokia Siemens Networks.


Lawrence Gasman, President and Owner, CIR, USA

Lawrence Gasman is the founder of CIR and has been tracking the commercial opportunities emerging from new technologies for more than three decades.  He has founded three industry analyst firms and built analyst teams to carry out this work.  During 2017, CIR began coverage of the quantum computing and quantum technology sector and CIR has already published market assessments and forecasts of QKD and quantum networking, with more reports in the quantum technology field to be published by CIR in 2018.

Gasman’s consulting work has included both major multinationals and high-tech start-ups as clients and he has also carried out due diligence work for investment banks, venture capitalists and leading management consulting firms. He is also the author of numerous articles on the economics of technology and of four books covering telecommunications, photonics and nanotechnology.

Michael Genovese is Managing Director and Senior Equity Analyst at MKM Partners, an Institutional trading firm based in Stamford, CT.  Mr. Genovese has been an Equity Analyst for 15 years, and has worked at Citigroup, AllianceBernstein and MKM Partners. He covers a broad range of Telecom Equipment companies, but is best known for his deep understanding and involvement in the Optical Systems and Optical Components markets.  Before moving to Wall Street, Mr. Genovese began his career at Ciena Corp. as an Analyst in the Market Intelligence Group.       

Ian Redpath, Principal Analyst, Ovum, USA

Ian is the Practice Leader for Ovum’s Components, Transport & Routing practice. Prior to his work in the analyst community, Ian started with system vendors: Nortel, Bell-Northern Research and Maryland-based optical start-up Corvis. Ian received his MBA from Queen's University at Kingston, Canada and his BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba.

Simon Stanley, Analyst at Large, Heavy Reading, USA

Simon is Founder and Principal Consultant at Earlswood Marketing Ltd., an independent market analyst and consulting company based in the U.K. His recent work has included investment due diligence, market analysis for investors and business/product strategy for semiconductor companies.

Simon has written extensively for Heavy Reading and Light Reading.
