Live Demonstration of Modulation Format Identification Using a Photonic Neural Network (M3Z.12)

We demonstrate modulation format identification on a micro ROADM ring using a photonic neural network with low-speed photodiodes. The goal is identifying dual-polarized 4QAM and 16QAM signals with symbol rates between 32 and 35 GBd.
