Finisar Post-Deadline Paper Presents New Research on 56 Gb/s Directly Modulated DFB Laser Technology at OFC 2015
SUNNYVALE, CA, MARCH 25, 2015 – Finisar (NASDAQ: FNSR)
Finisar, the world leader in flexible optical technology, today announced that a post deadline paper has been accepted for oral presentation during the OFC Conference in Los Angeles this week. OFC Post-Deadline papers represent the latest technical achievements in the field and only a few are selected by a panel of experts, among numerous submitted papers.
The Paper presents advanced research findings on a 112 Gb/s WDM link using two Directly Modulated Al-MQW BH DFB Lasers at 56 Gb/s. The paper authors include: Yasuhiro Matsui; Thang Pham; Tsurugi Sudo; Glen Carey; Bruce Young; and Charles Roxlo. The oral presenter will be Yasuhiro Matsui.
