IP Light Inc. announces its ground-breaking mixed-signal Apodis family of OTN Processors and Framers that enables OEMs to develop high-performance, highly integrated solutions for the growing OTN market. Apodis multi-service OTN framer/Phy/X-Connect System-on-a-Chip (SoC) are intended for Optical Transport platforms, Access/Aggregation systems, and Switch/Router applications. Apodis ASSP devices support OTN networks in Linear/Ring/Mesh topologies and exhibit powerful analog functionality creating an inordinately versatile platform for OTN blades design while slashing real-estate, power and cost. Apodis devices will be sampling to select customers on May 2011.
